"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" for Nintendo Entertainment System - Soundtrack

The soundtrack for this video game is amazing. The bassline follows you throughout the game; hadn't the game been so difficult, I would have danced to it.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is one of the first video games I have ever owned. I remember the underwater level, how I would painstakingly surmount it ("Hurry! Hurry Faster!!"), and get to level 3. In the meantime, about 45 minutes passed: I had to power off and do my homework. There was no way to save progress, so the next day I would have to start from scratch (ouch).

I also remember how hard it was losing a turtle (*sob*).

I never went beyond level 3. Oh, by the way, there are six levels in total.

Only recently I've discovered how this video game ends, thanks to YouTube. Here it is (credits to MaXingTien): https://youtu.be/rfD6tRhYQrg

This soundtrack surely brings back a memory or two.

If you like 8bit music, it's worth checking out.

Wolverine (NES) Soundtrack

This 8bit soundtrack is amazing. Its only defect: the length. Only 18 minutes and 22 seconds.

It is very Japanese sounding; as a matter of fact, I play this soundtrack every time I study Japanese.

The videogame was released in October 1991; not a huge success. The online community argues it was a difficult game, and not faithful to the comic books.

You be the judge. Here is the complete walkthrough, brought to you by NintendoComplete: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQHjtYB0PcQ

Wolverine's soundtrack is an easy listening. Recommended to all 8bit music fans out there.
